Soho House, Mykonos

Step into the realm of unparalleled luxury as I recount my visit to Soho House in Mykonos during May 2023.

From the very moment my car rolled to a stop, the mesmerising interiors and awe-inspiring architecture took my breath away. The prevailing colour palette of white and blue, accentuated by subtle clay tones, created an atmosphere of refined elegance that permeated every corner of the house. Curvaceous lines, thoughtfully incorporated throughout the house, emerged as a defining element, lending a sense of fluidity and grace to the space. As I crossed the threshold, my eyes were immediately drawn to the captivating black art deco lights that framed the entrance. The grand presence of oversized clay pots and lush greenery outside further heightened the sense of enchantment. Making my way into the reception area, I was greeted by the serene embrace of muted pink plastered walls, evoking a feeling of tranquility and understated sophistication. Open shelves adorned with vibrant bursts of colour, ranging from dazzling blue vases to earthy brown pots, added a playful touch to the surroundings

I went off to find my room and as I ascended the stairs, passing by a charming, diminutive church nestled at the base, it was a quaint reminder of the rich historical tapestry woven into the fabric of Soho House. The interiors of my room seamlessly merged artistic brilliance with timeless allure. Angled light fittings cast mesmerising shadows, creating an atmosphere of intrigue. A stone sink, exuding rustic charm, stood as a testament to the meticulous attention given to every detail. The textiles, tastefully selected, embraced a subdued colour palette that harmonised effortlessly with the overall aesthetic. The room was adorned with weathered wooden furniture, artfully curated to resonate with the space, and thoughtfully complemented by modern accessories, striking a delicate balance between past and present. Soho House, renowned for its masterful use of shape, once again proved its design prowess. This captivating quality, to which I am always drawn, permeated every aspect of the establishment. The pool area, enveloped in smooth light grey plaster, seamlessly intertwined with touches of light woods and rattan, creating a haven of relaxation and refined elegance. And oh, the views were simply breathtaking. My visit to Soho House, Mykonos has reignited my passion as a luxury interior designer. It is a testament to the transformative power of design, where every element converges to create an atmosphere that transcends time.

Soho House has not only inspired me to push the boundaries of creativity but has also deepened my commitment to crafting spaces that elevate the human experience.

I eagerly await my next adventure, armed with newfound inspiration and an unwavering dedication to creating extraordinary interiors that resonate profoundly with discerning clients.
